Long time followers and those who followed the old The Boys Great Escape blog that preceded The Boys Hawaiian Life blog know that the Hawaii outdoor shower has been a subject of discussion for years. Not to mention some jokes, innuendoes and jabs… Oh yeah and a few very sexy pictures of guys that stirred some things up. LOL. But alas for this post… about our actual new outdoor shower… you just get me… and a blurry pic at that!

So yeah it goes without offering much more explanation that we have always wanted to have an outdoor shower for our Hawaii home. At first it was just something we just thought was really cool and it was a great excuse to get naked outside. It evolved however after we moved to Hawaii and started boarding and playing in the ocean a lot.  It became more of  a necessity… Something that we really needed and could use all of the time.

This is probably not one to get naked in because it is in the front yard and is highly visible from the street. It does however make a great shower and board wash and even has a foot wash below for rinsing off sandy feet! I built it all by myself out of PVC and the entire thing including shower heads and valves set me back less than twenty bucks! Pretty cool huh?

I think this might be of particular interest to my friend Ann Wurden. So here you go Ann… When you come out and I take you SUP’ing you can rinse off after in my cool new outdoor shower.
